About Us
Circle of Hope is a private, non-profit, 501(c)3 multi-faceted domestic violence agency whose mission is to support, empower and bring hope to those affected by domestic violence through advocacy, awareness, education, and community partnerships.
Circle of Hope provides comprehensive, 24-hour support and crisis intervention for victims of domestic violence and their children. Our advocates work alongside survivors to develop and carry out individualized plans for safety, healing, and long-term independence.

We are committed to increasing community awareness through education, training, and outreach about the dynamics and impact of domestic violence. A volunteer Board of Directors governs Circle of Hope, and we actively seek the leadership and insight of survivors within our Board, staff, and volunteer programs.

Circle of Hope officially serves Habersham, Stephens, and White counties, offering a wide range of free, confidential services that identify barriers, address immediate needs, and promote lasting safety and stability.
We assist anyone experiencing domestic violence, regardless of national origin, religion, race, color, political affiliation, gender, age, ability, or sexual orientation. For safety, our emergency shelter is in a confidential location; access to shelter and other services is available through our 24-hour hotline or by visiting our outreach office at 120 Trinity Dr., Demorest, GA.
Our work is funded through a combination of state and federal grants, local United Ways (Foothills United Way and White County United Way), and generous cash and in-kind contributions from churches, civic groups, businesses, and individual donors. Operating a staffed 24-hour emergency shelter and crisis line is costly, and as requests for services continue to grow, community support remains essential to sustaining our mission.
