Get Involved

There are many ways individuals and groups can support victims of domestic violence and Circle of Hope. Below are a few examples of ways to get involved. Please contact the administrative office at contact@gacircleofhope.org or 706-776-3406 if you have a special project or donation.

Volunteer

The purpose of Circle of Hope’s Volunteer Program is to provide opportunities in which the community can assist us in providing the critical and often life saving services we offer to victims of domestic violence. We could not meet the demand for services without the support and dedication of our volunteers. Circle of Hope’s Volunteer Program assists staff in providing many direct and indirect services including telephone crisis intervention, transportation, housing and grounds maintenance, working with children, attending court, offering professional services or working in the Thrift Store.

For more information about our Volunteer Program please see the link below or contact us at contact@gacircleofhope.org, Great Nonprofits, or 706-776-3406.

In Kind Donations

In-kind donations include donating items on our needs list and donating professional services such as haircuts and legal assistance. Additionally, we accept car donations. Donated cars are given to residents who have no transportation and therefore have no way to get to and from work. By donating a car, you are helping change a life by giving someone the tools they need to become self-sufficient.

Cell Phone Fundraising Program

Circle of Hope partners with Smartphone Recycling, a firm that specializes in the logistics and underwriting of fundraising programs through the collection as well as the responsible recycling of used cellular phones. For Circle of Hope, this program functions with a dual purpose, serving not only as a fundraising initiative but also providing a vital safety resource to victims.
Donations of used or unwanted cell phones may be made at one of the locations listed below during business hours:

Circle of Hope Thrift Store - Clarkesville | Circle of Hope Thrift Store - Cornelia | Circle of Hope Outreach Office - Cornelia

It can be surprising for one to realize the great things accomplished with a planned gift to Circle of Hope. Due to the variety of planned gifts available, wealth is not necessary, nor do you have to part with assets now.
